Meet Kris Krohn – Founder of Timber Drift
Kris is a licensed landscape architect with over 20 years of experience designing refined, functional outdoor spaces that feel like a natural extension of home. A WSU grad and native to the Inland Northwest, he brings a deep understanding of the region’s rhythms, from snowy winters to smoky summers, and designs with both beauty and resilience in mind.
That’s why he founded Timber Drift, to bring thoughtful, functional, and lasting design to homeowners who want more from their outdoor spaces. Whether it’s a backyard built for entertaining, a fire-smart planting plan, or a full-scale landscape plan for a new construction home, Kris takes time to understand each client’s lifestyle and vision before the first sketch is ever drawn. With a practical eye and a creative heart, he blends craftsmanship with cost-effective solutions, so every project feels both inspired and intentional.
